Hosts - The Kirk Family

Steve & Nanette Kirk and daughter Natalie look forward to warmly welcoming you to their lovely historic home. Steve and Nanette emigrated from England to New Zealand in 1995 and Natalie is ‘100% Pure’ New Zealander.

After living in Auckland for many years and travelling extensively throughout New Zealand, we decided to make Marlborough our home and have become custodians of the beautiful, heritage listed "Woodside". We chose Marlborough because it simply offers everything we love - stunning landscapes, sunny climate, close proximity to the aquatic playground of the Marlborough Sounds and of course, the world famous Marlborough vineyards.

We both enjoy good wine and food, love to cook, and enjoy travelling and meeting people from all over the world. We are keen sailors and have had many happy times exploring the New Zealand coastline. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and this beautiful part of New Zealand.

Walnut grove

17 walnut trees adorn the property. You are more than welcome in late summer to gather walnuts from our orchard. The walnuts are used for making walnut oil by Uncle Joe's Walnuts, an award winning walnut oil producer.
